Front Page
E-Rag is the electronic version of the EARLYJAS Rag, the official
newsletter of the Earlville Association for Ragtime Lovers Yearning for
Jazz Advancement and Socialization.  The Rag is published most
months to chronicle club events and related jazz information.  The
usual features are shown in the Navigation Bar above.

The
Announcements section highlights activities of members or other
news of interest to the jazz community.

Events lists the current month's EARLYJAS club events.

From Your Editor is my chance to plug events, people, or recordings,
to lament about the sad state of Traditional Jazz, remind you to pay
your dues, and to comment on timely happenings.

In Tune, by Bill Fuller, focuses on music and musicians of the classic
period of jazz, including analyses of certain recordings.

Down Melody Lane, by Jeanne Arrendale, reports and reprints brief
articles about musicians, songs, composers, and the jazz age.

Music Makers is a monthly report of EARLYJAS club events.  Bill Irvin
is the reporter.

In the
Personalities section, Phil Cartwright interviews EARLYJAS
personalities -- musicians, officers, and fans.

Links are just that -- links to other sites related to traditional jazz and
ragtime
